omg i pwn you

On Tuesday night, I won the Guitar Hero tournament finals at the bar down the street. Last time they held a tournament for GH, they gave away Tool tickets.I got a red Budweiser soft cooler that I can’t seem to reassemble.Oh, I also got two Budweiser shirts, a hat, and a bottle opener. That’s almost as good as Tool tickets, right? Eh, whatever =/Good news!I got my first official donation! Thank you so much Courtney, it really means a lot.A lot of people have complained about Paypal. Apparently, having to create a user name and password is too much work :wassat:It only takes two minutes to sign up and it’s safe so stop worrying! So yeah… thanks again Courtney! BAKE SALE! I’m going to start selling some items here pretty soon. I’ve got a ton of DVDs that I’ll be selling like Blockbuster except cheaper. I’m selling five DVDs at a time for $20, so they’re only $4 each and all the proceeds go directly into my traveling fund, and not into Blockbuster’s murderous, baby sealskin-lined pockets. Fuck you Blockbuster!Keep checking back and remember to ttyl

Getting closerrrrr…

Hey everyone :DEverything has been going well for the past 2 weeks and I’m starting to save a little bit of money, but it’s never too late to…. So shameless, I know. Nobody has yet, so at least I’m not asking for money when it’s just piling in, right? I wish :PI’m going to be compiling a list of items that I need to sell before I leave. Among these items are my car, computer, a HUGE collection of DVDs (most of them scary movies - original copies and not burned), my guitar and amp, and a few other random valuables. I’ll have a full listing of the items complete with pictures. I’m avoiding eBay due to fees and hassle with shipping. If I sell some items on here, there’s a good chance I’ll know the buyer so I could probably arrange a pickup if necessary. Just keep checking back.On a completely unrelated note, watch this girl from South Carolina try to answer a generic beauty pageant question. Hahahahaha.Another update very soon, I promise.Sign the damn GUESTBOOK too please =)

OMG!

Cheers everyone.I’ve got huge plans coming up. I’m going on a backpacking expedition and I’m going to leave my friends and family to explore other parts of the world for an undisclosed amount of time.As of October 26th, 2007 I will be officially unemployed! I’ve been working with my current company since April 2006 and it’s been an interesting year and a half. I love the company and the people that work there, but unfortunately, I can’t help but feel like my life is missing something very important - excitement.I have decided to immediately start saving up and move to Europe to travel. My journey will start when I fly to Dublin, Ireland and then continue to London, England. From England, I will pick a destination in Europe’s mainland and then travel in any direction by foot towards the next place that interests me. As of right now, I am thinking that Italy will be the first place I’d like to visit. I’d like to end up there in December and stay in the southern part of Europe until Spring arrives and the weather is more friendly to backpackers.I’d like everyone to know that this is not a joke or a half-hatched idea. I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now. I have already put in a notice to my work and I am not going to change my mind. Also, this journey is not going to be in vain. I will be documenting everything about my adventures on a daily basis and plan to write a book about what I’ve experienced. I find it crazy that I do not know a single person who has ever done this before. Several people have told me that they wish they could take such a crazy risk, so I plan on proving to people that it can be done.I’m going to need some help from friends, family, and even people who do not know me. I have set up a Paypal account for donations and I’d like to ask anyone that reads this to help out if they can. Let your friends and family know as well. I don’t expect a large turnout from the donations, but it would be nice to know that there are people out there that support my dream. I’m also going to be posting an Amazon wishlist soon - it’s going to be a list of items I would like to have for my trip. I’m keeping things to a minimum, but I will need certain essentials to get by and any help would mean more to me than you would ever know. Please keep checking back as I will be updating the site more and more from now until I leave. I’ll be doing updates while on my trip whenever I can access the internet as well. Expect pictures, videos, interviews, etc. It should be very interesting because if any of you know me, you’ll know that this will be something I’ll be successful at.Below is the Paypal link for donations. The sooner you donate, the more prepared I can be for my travels. Thanks everyone!Don’t forget to sign the GUESTBOOK
