Women + Driving = Fail

I support equal rights for everyone, regardless of their race, sexual preference, or gender. However, I do believe that there are certain situations when equality can be a bad thing. For example, when there are an equal amount of women drivers on the road.
In Massachusetts, a 17-year-old girl broke her mother’s legs after failing to differentiate between the gas and brake pedals in a car. Here’s how something like that happens, MSNBC.com explains:
“The mother was sitting on a fence when she was struck Saturday morning at a movie theater parking lot… The teen was trying to put the car in park when the accident happened. ‘She was stopped, but not being familiar with the vehicle, she accelerated and hit her mom,’ said a police sergeant.”
Here’s a fantasy diagram of what happened:

After the mother was taken to the hospital for her injuries, the police ticketed the girl’s father for letting an unlicensed driver operate his vehicle.
I’d like to investigate the relationship between that mother and daughter. We can’t rule out the possibility that this was attempted murder. “I swear, I totally meant to push the brake pedal!” Psh, yeah right.
Bonus: Drivers in Massachusetts are commonly referred to as Mass-holes.
