VIRGINIA — Authorities are searching for 21-year-old Bruce Jamar Walston after he failed to appear in court on animal cruelty and disorderly conduct charges.

Walston was scheduled to be sentenced for the murder of his girlfriend’s innocent kitten.

The kitten had gotten tangled in the cords of Walston’s gaming console and unplugged it, so he threw it into a wall — the kitten, not the gaming console. The horrified girlfriend called 911, and the police arrested Walston just as he was reloading his last game save.

Walston is no stranger to violence and crime. In January, he was arrested with a friend after they burglarized a man’s home and beat him with a vacuum cleaner. He was already out on bail for those crimes when he was arrested for killing the kitten.

The judge denied Walston bail after the kitten incident, but he was clearly released at some point, along with a child molester. The jail had to make room for two pot smokers.

Walston is currently on the run from police. It’s likely that he’ll kill again soon — another innocent kitten, or maybe another deadly assault with a vacuum. Or maybe, just maybe, he’s laying low at home and playing Call of Duty with his homies on XBOX Live.
