FLORIDA — Audrey Willoughby is facing 18 months in prison for child abuse and other charges after she made her 10-year-old daughter drive home from the bar one night. Her 8-year-old son was also in the car. The ride ended abruptly though because the young girl panicked and crashed into a house.

Willoughby and her boyfriend brought the 10-year-old and her 8-year-old brother with them to the bar, but neither of the adults wanted to drive home. The only logical solution was making one of the kids drive instead. The biggest quandary was deciding which kid should drive. The 8-year-old was better at Mario Kart, but his older sister had longer legs and a bit more maturity. It was decided — the girl would drive.

There are probably some talented 10-year-olds capable of driving a car, but this particular one was not. She immediately smashed into three cars after pulling onto the road, and then crashed into a house after pressing the accelerator instead of the brake. This proves that women cannot drive at ANY age.

When the police arrived, the terrified young girl admitted everything. Both adults were arrested, and a bag of weed was found in Willoughby’s purse, so she was charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana as well as child abuse and permitting an unauthorized minor to drive.

Willoughby will be sentenced in May, but as part of a plea bargain, she won’t serve more than 18 months behind bars. Her boyfriend was also charged with child abuse and sentenced to 13 months in prison.

The children were taken to their grandmother’s house where they’ll have even less supervision. Now the 10-year-old can borrow the old woman’s Buick and brush up on parallel parking.

Actually looking at it again it’s likely the 10 year old was drunk driving. Probably a pretty good driver normally.
