CONNECTICUT — Police arrested Antonio Recinos last weekend on a drug possession charge after he approached a police officer, whipped out some cocaine, and complained that his dealer shorted him.

Unrelated: This guy looks exactly like my friend Jeff.

Recinos had given a dealer $40 for some cocaine, but he felt victimized when the amount he was given wasn’t consistent with the price, so he dialed 911 to complain. A patrolman was already in the area though, and once Recinos spotted him, he approached the officer and pleaded for help.

“Does THIS look like $40 worth of cocaine to you, officer? You gotta help me. This ain’t right!”

The officer helped him into the back of a squad car and took him to jail instead.

It might also be worth mentioning that, according to police, Recinos had been drinking alcohol that night. I don’t see how that could have affected his judgement though.

Recinos was released on $5000 bail later the same day, and is due back in court in two weeks.

Complaining to the police about getting ripped off by your drug dealer is like complaining that a girl you got away with raping 6 months ago gave you AIDS, or a guy you stabbed broke your knife.

Recinos isn’t the first idiot to do something like this. Last year, Stephen Bosch from Kentucky called the police to report a burglary at his home. When the cops arrived, they smelled marijuana and decided to search the house. They discovered a scale and 5 ounces of weed in his trash can.
