Website of the Week

There is a website called BadLipReading.com, and whoever created it doesn’t get enough credit for his or her ingenuity. They take music videos from artists ranging from Taylor Swift to the Black Eyed Peas, mute the audio of it, and play a completely new song over it while matching the lyrics to the artist’s lips.
For example, instead of Taylor Swift singing a country song about virginity and bunnies, she’s singing a club song about getting drunk and banging dudes in Porsches — and it looks spot-on.
Turn on the subtitles to appreciate all the sexual innuendos.
It doesn’t matter whether or not you’ve heard of Michael BublĂ© and his song “I Just Haven’t Met You Yet” because the BLR (Bad Lip Reading) version is a million times catchier — sorry Mr. BublĂ©.
The Black Eyed Peas aren’t safe from Bad Lip Reading either. BEP + BLR = OMG LOL
This all started with BLR’s absurd song “Gang Fight,” played over Rebecca Black’s video for “Friday.”
None of BLR’s other videos have come close to the 3.2 million views that “Gang Fight” had, and that’s sad because it means that they owe much of their success to Rebecca Black.
Right now, there are nine BLR videos. Subscribe to their YouTube channel, and like their FB page.
