Traces of meth found all over school

WEST VIRGINIA — The principal and a teacher at the Boone County Career and Technical Center near Charleston have been arrested on charges related to manufacturing meth, and the school itself has been closed after investigators found traces of meth all over the building, including in the air ducts.

The teacher, Jack Turley, admitted to police that he had smoked meth with the principal, Keith Phipps, in his office. There was no explanation for how traces of the drug were also found in the hallways and bathrooms of the school, but meth residue probably just lingers everywhere a meth addict has been.
There was no evidence that the vocational school had been used as a lab to manufacture meth.
Both men are facing charges for buying illegal quantities of Sudafed, which is a cough medicine used to make meth, and Turley faces an additional charge of manufacturing the drug.
Classes will not resume if the building isn’t completely decontaminated when the regular school season begins, and right now, there’s not much hope that it will be. If it’s not cleaned up, about 450 students will spend the 2011-2012 school year gettin’ drunk and shootin’ bullfrogs with BB guns.
This reminds of the song that Mötley Crüe covered, “Smokin’ Meth in the Boys Room.”
Bonus: The school’s website has already been shut down.

Muahaha. Have you ever been to a vocational school? I have… I’d be willing to bet 50% of the students had at the very least tried meth. It’s a whole school of kids who aspire to be blue collar laborers. What do you expect?
