IOWA — Police have charged 30-year-old Gerardo Martinez with bestiality, animal abuse, and indecent exposure after he tried to have sex with it a cat, and then tossed it from a seventh-floor window.

Witnesses called 911 after they saw Martinez expose himself from a window before dropping a cat from it. When the cops arrived at his apartment, he answered the door with no shirt on and his pants were pulled down. Officers asked him to pull his pants up and asked him about the cat.

Martinez admitted that he had been smoking meth, but claimed that he didn’t own a cat. Then he changed his story and said that his boyfriend threw the cat out the window. Finally, he came clean and admitted that he attempted to have sex with the cat, and then threw it out the window with a porno DVD.

The poor cat was found badly injured from the impact of the fall. It later died from its injuries.

It may come as no surprise that Martinez is a registered sex offender. In 1998, he was convicted of sexually abusing an underage girl. Ever since then, he’s been required to check-in with the local police every 3 months and declare that he still lives in Iowa and hasn’t sexually abused any girls.

Because of his status as a sex offender, prosecutors are deciding whether or not additional charges should be filed against Martinez. Clearly, he doesn’t have a preference for gender or species: he lives with his boyfriend, but has a history of molesting young girls, and now he’s into fucking and killing cats.

If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison. If raping a cat wouldn’t make a judge consider you mentally unfit for a normal prison, what would? I seriously need to know because if I ever get locked up, I’d rather it be in an asylum, not a prison with a bunch of cat molesters and murderers.
